Good day at XRP , TMCCC Pro Muscle winner in the Cat
Hadn't posted in a while. Having fun in the 63 Cat at the local Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge bracket series thats been on going nearly 30 years. Had the hood off for weight reduction simulation and funny enough ended up being over a tenth quicker in the 1/8 but not in the 60 foot but quicker in the 330 foot (added collector extensions also recently) loosing about 80+# off the nose with hood off. Hope to get a VFN hood but dang if the prices didn't nearly go up $125 more this year. I went 5 rounds and won my class and ran my first 7.4's all day long. Old Quadrajet , iron intake cast rod motor humming along getting it done. Went a 7.44 in time trials , then 5 rounds went 7.45 7.48 7.45 7.43 7.42 also took out fellow Pontiacker Tom Cheatwood in his red 62 Tempest 7.0 car. Next race in 4 weeks at the TX Motorplex in my town of Ennis also going try the Torker II for that , been swapping between the ported iron and the Warrior so T2 is next ..
