My Miller went through two boards in two years ... then with the third was fine for 20 years.
Might be worth it to check into having the board looked at even if you want a new welder, at least you could sell the old one as a fully functioning unit.
Personally I kind of want my syncrowave to die ... would give me an excuse to buy a new inverter machine. Which of course means it will live forever.
