I like 70-73 because to me it is such a pure design. Blatantly stolen design themes. 60's Ferrari in the rear window. Maserati in the front treatment. Last of the chrome bumpers. The small back window birds. The sawed off bull nose front. The big wheel arches. The crease line lower, not Camaro high. High back (yes Vega) seats post 70. I find 72 Custom interior patterns the cats meow. I like 72 honeycomb grilles with honeycomb rims. I like my butt a few inches off the pavement. I like the gigantic unwieldy doors. I like that women like the cars without even knowing what they are
I like Trans Am steering wheels. I find the dash with tach and gauges like home. And set up right, they handle great to as fast as I go anymore. I think stylistically, 70-73 endure, and will never be "frumpy".
I think they are like 9 inches shorter than a later 70's bird, so they park the best, haha.
