THIS IS A VERY KEY STATEMENT. The geometry directly affects the valve stem wear, the cylinder head guide wear, and the valve seal life. THAT is why it is important to check these things vs just bolt on a Rocker Arm that misses the spring and the pushrod is still between the guide plate ears.
Lots of info on how to check this stuff once you have the Camshaft, Lifters, and other related parts, (even the right head gaskets torqued to spec on the block).
A well-chosen quality rocker arm is worth spending the extra money if you are actually going to drive the car at all.

People do stuff for reasons, they don't just throw a bunch of cheap parts on an engine and drive the vehicle.
Much better to detune your stuff and use Factory Engineered Parts vs cobbled together crap (if you can't afford GOOD aftermarket parts).
