I can take a Holley 4 BBL apart in about 3 minutes with the tools I use every day.
Bowls off, Metering Blocks off, Baseplate off, (This is on a Holley carb with Mechanical or Vacuum Secondaries.) I typically soak the Main Body (with the Metering Plate) overnight because it is easier to do that vs damage the surface of the Main Body where the Metering Plates attach. I am not big on damaging a persons carb be it a $15 swap meet carb or a $$$$ Money Carb.

The Holley Demon carbs remind me of the old Spreadbore carbs. Just an alternative to the Production OEM stuff, with usually the OEM stuff actually having a better calibration.
