there. Turbo LS, Coyote supercharged, SBC on juice. All street cars. My friend is the underdog in an 8 car shootout with his high 500 hp SB on a 350 shot of N20. The Coyote stang is full interior, kicking stereo daily street driven ( 8.70 car). As stated the street is the equalizer, the fastest car does not always win. I can tell you I go to a lot of these races, There is a reason why you are seeing more and more "modern motors" and not traditional ones.
My Pontiac is real street friendly and can run a single digit pass at the track. It is slow compared to what is out there. I could turn it up but my stock block will not like that. If it was an LS / coyote/hemi 20-30 psi is fine on stock blocks.
So the question is yes you can make them run like an LS to a point. It depends on where you want to point.
