Our insurance is through Costco / Ameriprise. For five cars it's $2429 per year. Each car has a $100 comprehensive deductible, $250 collision. Based in Los Angeles, 90606 zip code. Only my wife & I are on the policy, and typically we drive each car less than 3000 miles per year, although my wife drives the 99 C5 every day for work, so 7500 miles per year on that one.

Because of my policy with them I was able to get a Modern Gen classic car policy on the 69 Bird for about $120 per year which has a stated/appraised value of $19k, no deductible. Since I've done so many upgrades to it, I'll need to raise that limit up to $35k. Not sure what my mileage cap is, but I think it's 3000 miles per year like on the Ameriprise policy.

They've been great to work with whenever someone has dropped a brick in the road, or done other stupid stuff to our cars while parked. For reference I'm 61, ans she's 57, and we haven't had an accident or speeding ticket in years, so I'm sure we get discounts for having six cars.

I work from home, so the daily driver is the Ford Explorer to go to USPS and Fedex. Last year I put 1600 miles on the truck in one year.

Yeah, I know....too many cars, not enough driving time!
