Something fishy going on there. I very seriously doubt it came from the factory that way .... if it did ... then the asking price is WAY too low. They moved the ignition key from the dash to the column in 69 didn't they? That alone would require a different dash harness too and I'm pretty sure the sheet metal behind a 69 dash is different than a 68 so the factory would have had to install 68 sheet metal in a 69 body. The seller is obviously confused and doesn't realize that 69 models were sold in late 68 so the production date is no big deal.

Dash sheet metal replacement is easier than it seems ... I did it on my 68 to replace the original that was hacked up for a radio. With AC dashes you can make a nice clean cut between AC and instrument cut-outs and the side braces and splice in a new one very neatly.
