They weren't located too far from where I went to high school in the early 60's. Before they became a major wheel manufacturer they "remanufactured" chrome reverse wheels. A classmate had a wheel come apart on the freeway onramp. Today he would own them, but back then they just gave him another wheel. I had a set on the rear of my car but they never gave any problem, and being young and naïve didn't even worry that mine might suffer the same fate.
