When you attached the pic, you would have seen the file name in the attachment area to let you know that it is attached to the post.
Right click on that hot link and left click on 'copy image address'.
Come back to the text you intend to post and right click into that field.
Left click 'paste'. You'll see the link appear as a web address there. At that point type the code
[img] at the beginning of the link and
[/img] at the end of the link. The pic will appear in it's full size in the post along with the thumbnail.
