So was that a 28.8k dial up connection, or did you have the high tech 56K?
Still remeber running out and getting a 56K modem when AOL supported it. want to say that was a little before 97, but I am not positive.
Such a big deal back then. Could load a 1mp picture in under a minute. Freaky fast!
