Before the Ames switch and related problems with logging onto the site, my join date always showed as Dec. 1969. After all of that was cleared up, it showed (to me) as Jan. 1970. I always considered that as some sort of site "correction". Ironically about the same time the C.H. password changed from 1969 to 1970.
In the spirit of full disclosure (legal jargon for the truth
), in early 2000 I learned of PY and was drawn here to check it out by all of the bad-mouthing posted by a few Classical Pontiac puritans. The irritating and childish postings of Glenn and his cheerleaders motivated me to dump C.P. and hang out here.
So, like it or not, here I am. Those of you from that era know what became of Glenn and C.P.
