Daily dose of numbers.

How many people a year die in the US?
2,712,630 .... yes, 2.71 MILLION people a year.

That is 7,397 people per DAY.
If it's worse than they say, and the virus kills 100,000 people, that would increase our yearly death TOTAL by 3.6%. Or our normal death rate from 0.82 of 1% to 0.85 of 1%

In NYC on the average day 189 people die, before the virus.
Media says the NYC morgues are piling up bodes, bringing in refrigerator trucks. If 20 extra people a day in NYC die from the virus ... that's an additional 10.5% above normal ... hardly cause for piling up bodies, and would mean that NYC morgues are operating at total capacity BEFORE the virus.

It's irresponsible journalism to throw numbers at the average Joe without putting them in understandable perspective.
