It is an oddity that it was built in Norwood,Ohio to be sold in California, instead of VanNuys plant. I guess the workers strike might be involved in that somehow.

All 72's were built in Norwood, so were all F-body's produced 72 up through 77 models.
For '78, Van Nuys reappeared as an F-body plant.
