They are probably disappearing because there are so many better options out there and not that much more money.

Modern pistons will be lighter, stronger, tighter fit, better ring packs and full-floating option.

I wouldn't install a set of those heavy old TRW/Speed Pro slugs if you gave them to me!.......Cliff
