Just found this pic of a 2nd gen Bird running SS/AM. It has PONTIAC on the scoop. John Clegg drove it. Ran mid 8's, in the mid 2000's Saw it listed on DRC from 1998-2006.
I'm not familiar with the rules for this class. For those who are, must this car run an engine based on what was available in it from the factory ? Or, can it run a Chevy V8 engine ?
The reason I ask is because I know that John & J.B. Clegg have been running a 3rd gen which is not Pontiac powered, in the SS/AS class.
Anybody here familiar with this particular car who can give us details about the engine it ran ?
