I'm familiar with the story of the SD car. But, I assumed this was a different car, just painted the same color. Assumed that no Pontiac guy would use an original SD car as a non-Pontiac powered drag car, with a huge non-Pontiac scoop on the hood.

I know guys did that kind of stuff, back in the old days. But in the '90's & 2000's, I assumed all Pontiac guys knew the historic nature & value of original SD cars.

But, the Cleggs have several SD drag cars. So, they can do whatever they choose with 'em.

Don't know if the '74 Stocker is an original SD car or not. Don't know it's history. But, it's been on the Mission Garage website, for several years.
