I've mentioned the '82 "Hatari" Bird that Peter Biondo drove to his 1st SS nat championship, back in the '90's. Then Bruce Fulper raced it for a while, winning class @ Indy, in around '04.
Next oldest model 3rd gen GT car I can think of was once raced by Victor Santos. He did quite well with it. Here is some of what I found.
The DRC records begin with the 1998 season. That's where the Vic Santos Bird shows up. So, I don't have a clue when he 1st raced it.
