The idea behind it was to make a casting that looked like the iron version. Something that Edelbrock and KRE doesn't do.

I believe the thought was with the scarcity of the real thing, and the prices they bring, it might be a possible selling point for an aftermarket "look-a-like" version.

Several dozen people were on board, but apparently nothing came of it.
