1. The car being disassembled and in boxes doesn't count towards the $20,000 of parts. It's just the original car in pieces.
2. You must have purchased a
second set of rims and tires already, because your original purchase was rims with the wrong BS (3.75' IIRC) and that forced your to buy much smaller and narrower tires (26" diameter IIRC).
I was one of several that were trying to help you in selecting rims that would work on your car but you didn't want to spend the money to buy rims with adequate BS. I'll be interested to know what your BS is now and how you're going to get 255/45/18's (27" tall) under the front end of a '64.
3. Spending $11,000 for an engine for a car that was still 3.5 years away from being done when built may be why your project is taking so long.
