Well, 'on-deck' meant today and the carpet is installed after all the test fitting, trimming, cutting, and making tiny little holes for the seat beat bolts in the floor. Got the steering column in, connected the harnesses, installed the refurbished column cover plate/clutch rod bellows and gasket at the firewall, and the new parking brake mechanism and pedal.
Tomorrow will be the Formula wheel swap and the rest of the dash stuff...glove box, deck lid control, radio, and the rest of the ductwork. We're going to fill in the few cracks in the dash and try to make it a little prettier.
The new (old) tank has a stamp on the top side that looks like it has a date of '1970' in it...pretty cool.
It's starting to come together and we're making slow, but positive progress.
