And we are all happy with how these things came out, hence having one and being here. But these things could just as easily have been options on different models since they work, but look odd at times as non-standard, and we'd have supported those options too. While building my custom formula back in the late 70's, I picked up a shaker to cut into the formula hood. I had the hole all taped out, ready to cut....but just couldn't do it. I stepped back, and took a good look at the beauty of the stock formula hood. That made up my mind to put the shaker on the shelf.
I still have the thing sitting there, waiting to come to life one day : )
