This afternoon, the clouds came back, & the temp dropped back below freezing. The local weatherman said that earlier 33° temp, was the 1st temp above freezing here, since Sat, which is a record period of time - 141 hours.

The sunshine had begun to melt some of the ice. But, now the melting has stopped. That has made lots of icicles. The last pic shows one that TJ just brought up from the horse barn. It measured 17".
The ice in the pine trees had also begun to melt. So, there are quite a few icicles now hanging from the pine needles.
Went down our road & removed the tree that was across it. I noticed that some of the small trees & saplings were so top-heavy with ice that they have bent over, some almost 180°.
