A little issue with the port alignment on the plastic intake,I think because the scanned port was a 2.100 tall port and we reduced more to stock 1962 head.Looks to me it would have to be opened up a touch to match a 62-63 421 SD port. Not sure if I want to mess with it or just go with it.The ports on the converted intake Jim did are perfect match for a stock 48 port with lots of meat to go taller and wider. Will try to get wall thickness. As you can see looking down from the top the water X overs are a match. You will notice the bolt holes on the first 2 on each side are now diff.I put 4 bolts in each intake screwing in with my fingers without a wrench so the holes on the flanges are pretty much dead nut to the heads on my engines.Baby steps. The project will start with the early style so im at the mercy of those that wanted them. When im convinced the pattern maker is comfortable and ready to take my deposit I will ask for a deposit from those that committed. That will separate the contenders from the pretenders.Im going away sking for a few days and will be back on it when I get home.Have the 383 RA V engine going on the pump the 24th so thats taking some of my time also.Tom
