I mix match brands all the time. Flat tappet Comp or Melling with Johnson flat tappet lifters, and different brand hydraulic rollers with other brand hydraulic roller lifters. There are no real issues with doing that. It's more about buying the quality parts that work.

Like Steve mentioned, other than possibly pushrod length changing for the different brand hydraulic rollers used.
