The set-up I'm running is very easy on parts. I'm running the Comp Endure-X lifters on their XE Street Roller lobes 266/272 and about .650 net lift with HS 1.65's. I run the K-motion K-800 springs and change them every couple years. Zero issues with 5 Drag Weeks on these parts along with weekly bracket racing at my local 1/8 mile. Relatively inexpensive parts that seem to work in my combo.

My set-up is pretty mild compared to many Drag Weekers including Richard Guido (guidos on here) and he drives his car to the events racking up 5000 miles in a couple weeks time. It all kinda boils down to your budget and how much maintenance you're willing to do between the drives.
