Today i decided to fix something that has bugged me since I reassembled my 64 GTO in 2017. Somehow at that time when I rebuilt the cluster I had the speedo needle misaligned, it always indicated below zero mph on the gauge when parked. I must have pressed the needle on when it was at the stop, but not aligned to zero so it hung at about the 6 o’clock position.
It always irritated me that i made such a dumb mistake - and, of course reminded of it every time I glanced at the speedo when driving (besides always having to add on 10-12 mph for true speed). So today i pulled the instrument cluster and repositioned the needle. In the background of first pic you can see incorrect needle position, pic two is cluster pulled....it pays to have smaller hands when you do jobs like this
Should finish tomorrow on the reinstall.........this one was on my list to fix right away after i finished the resto - finally got to it 4 yrs later

I don’t blame you for procrastinating. Pulling out the instruments on ‘64s and ‘65s is not fun.
