Years ago, we let another one of our dogs go too long because we let hope get the best of us.
Looking back at his pictures, he was a virtual skeleton in poor shape. He kept getting stuck outside in the palmettos and vines, or inside under corner tables as he was half blind and fully deaf.
We swore to never let another dog suffer like him.
The temptation to let Bob live another 3 months was very strong, but like yours, he was falling about 20 times a day.
What confused us was the fact that he was still playful with our other current dog.
Very tough decision.
