Here are a few pics from a project that I started back in 2011, 68 LeMans. Had the Evaporator flushed, acid washed, leak checked, Compressor rebuilt and installed new a Hearer Core and that's as far as it progressed.
it appears that the red circled holes in your pic are for larger sheet metal screws.
