I like the Johnsons. I've also used the Morels that have worked perfectly fine for me. I've also bought Comps on several occasions and have been told from posting pictures on here that some of them were Johnsons, some were Morels, some were made by Shaver, so Comp has been a mixed bag of lifter brands over the years depending on when you purchased them.

However, none of them has ever given me any problems. The last set of Comps I bought from Paul, had the correct oil band height, and have been in dad's engine for more than 2 years now and are completely silent on a .400 lobe roller with 1.65 rockers.

I agree with Paul, if you already have the Morels, run with those and see if they are quiet for you. If not happy, move on to something else.
