Some of the repro rubber weatherstrip is 2 or 3 times the thickness of the original weatherstrip. I'll photograph the strip on my '65 GTO, which is original, for your reference and post it in a short while. Had a friend with a '67 and he had to take the thick stripping off and install the right stuff that actually fit.
