As far as cap fretting goes, there was cap fretting on the 862 HP 2-bolt main, Luhn engine that ran at only 5300 rpm.
You don't have to be making 2000 hp to get it. That says that the main caps are "waving in the wind" which was
posted 10 years ago. Only way to help that is the Skirted Blocks.
