At one point in my life I had over 12,000 diecast cars in my collection. I had a buddy who would pick me up around 11pm and we would hit every Wal-Mart within driving distance. But, he had issues I was unaware of and ended up taking his life one morning. After that I quit collecting for the most part. If I went to a store I would check their die cast out and buy a Pontiac if they had one. I even left special edition cars, like Treasure hunts on the shelf. About two years after my friends death I contacted another collector and sold him everything I had except for my Pontiacs. He got a great deal and I freed up a 6' wide by 9' high by 24' long storage room in my garage. I bought two Pontiacs a couple days ago and put them in one of the plastic totes with the others.
Maybe one day I will get them out, look them over then give them to the kids in my neighborhood.
