I visited the foundry yesterday and picked up both a new early and new late model casting. This is the first late model casting we have had to date (other than the machined billet) and we will fit check it to a late model block after I finish machining it. This late model version is virtually the same basic casting as the early, with interchangeable cores for the revised coolant crossover and flange length. The other early vs late differences are accomplished with machining and are not related to the basic casting itself. I was also able to verify the early model casting has had the changes incorporated and is ready to go.
I have authorized the first production batch of manifolds which will begin to arrive here in the second week of May. We will begin machining them right away and will start shipping as soon as machining is complete.
