I have also had past failures, but this one is very different as the terms "normal & comfortable" come to mind with her & I have no doubt I will spend the rest of my life with her! My parents have been married for 61+ years & that one partner mentality was what I always had growing up....Boy did I get a rude awakening!  I consider myself blessed to not have had any children with them & I made sure they all left better off than when they came in....That is just how I was raised.
