Can you get a Mig gun on that crack ? I have welded nuts on stripped drain plugs with pan on.
Even welded a small crack in oil pan still on truck. Drained oil and put a small hose down dipstick tube filling the crankcase with CO2 so it would not catch on fire.
If you are going to do it cold Marine Tex would be my choice on the crack itself. Belzona works too.
