I watched a guy use liquid mask back in the 90's. He was painting rear windows on 3rd gen Camaros.
I have no clue what he used, but it was impressive. The stuff dried to a semi-translucent white. He'd draw the logo/mural/design, then X-acto out the parts he didn't want masked, spray it, let it tack up, peel the mask... Voila! Instant art.
I realize this isn't much help- it more of an encouragement post- Go for it!
