Ok, this thread sent me down a rabbit hole all day.

My car is '70 and is very close to all original yet restored over 20 years ago, much longer than I have owned it. There are things I know are not original to the car, but based on the interior, and the '70 Bright Blue, I highly suspect the glove box door is original to the car but can't say for sure.

My car is a Norwalk car with an 06 C assembly date, third week of June. I tried to dig up when the last of the '70s were built and did find any definitive dates, so I spent a bunch of time on the registry reviewing build dates there and only found a very few built that late and only a couple that were like 07 A, unless there were RA IV's (which I understand were all at the very end of '70 production)

My glove box door does not match what the '70's in this thread look like (with the smaller square insert for the decal), it has the longer recessed space like the images of the '71.

Could it be my car being so late got the glovebox door used in '71 (maybe already out of '70s)? Or is there no way that could have happened and I have a later door that someone matched perfectly to the the dash and the rest of the interior?
