I am fortunate in that with-in a mile of my current home, I have a Lawn Mower Shop that will take stale gas and dispose of it safely.
I have been taking stale gas there for many years.
Look into that option, it is a lot safer.
A friend was burned over 90% of his body, DIED, due to messing with stale gasoline.
I have posted about that sad deal in the past.
