I worked with a guy who never pre filled his oil filter. Actually, he never changed it either, or his oil for that matter. Just added whatever oil he could scrounge when it got low. Had the car for years until he wrecked it. Still ran. May have been the original oil filter!
The arguments over oil related topics amaze me.
Yes, I alway pre fill, who cares.
