honestly, most people won't notice this, unless you have convex mirrors on the car -
the etching is quite small.
I chose to try to accomplish this just because I could.
I'd like my car as correct as possible... and typically little parts like this are not going to have asking prices in the stratosphere.
... Then again, no one is going to notice a starter number and we all know where you went with that rabbit hole

Honestly though, I'd prefer a february 1970 dated passenger mirror - because these December mirrors are probably best installed on a January or Ferurary build date car - but, I'm going to consider this detail done for now.
(if my memory serves me it has been suggested that the engine I bought my car with came from a car that was built the first week of February)
