Looks like a temporary halt, not a permanent one.
While technology far into the future may address current problems in EV cars/trucks, I think people who fork out 6 figures on a radically new product with zero foresight of short or long-term issues need to have their heads examined. Those who depend on their truck to make a living (not mall crawlers/status symbols) need a product with a solid well proven design with excellent reliability and minimal headaches on the source it's powered by.
