It should be satisfactory for the w10 upgrade however general browsing may be slower as you only have 4GB RAM.

You could upgrade RAM but I wouldn't throw good money at something at old.

If you sign in with your outlook/hotmail/msn (Microsoft) account it will retain your settings from computer to computer to make the migration easier. Also, you can earn Bing points that you can buy real stuff with. The browser also gives flree coupon codes when you shop online (amazon etc).

The Microsoft account also connects to OneDrive which is the cloud repository. You can safely store data there in case yer house burns down or your old hard drive gives up the ghost. If I lost junior's baby pictures I wouldn't be writing this note.

You are technically supposed to purchase w10 since you missed the "flree upgrade window" however for some reason it still doesn't ask for a paid key if you are upgrading from W7 or W8 with a paid-for key.

Alternatively, there has never been a better time to purchase a new unit - they are starving since the post voivod boom...lol

Good luck!
