...also I believe when you disassemble the shifter all the pieces are separate and can be changed out individually. Pete Serio rebuilds these and could answer your question definitively

There are a couple of pretty good videos on taking these apart and fixing them up. The finish makes it look like only the reverse piece is different.

I'll contact Mr. Serio. He would known and likely have the part too.

Any updates on the tail panel restoration/experimentation you were doing?

Not yet. It has been too cold for me to shoot epoxy for months. The weather is starting to turn finally and I'm hoping I can make progress on that front soon.
