This is absolutely ridiculous and highly unlikely
I just laugh when I read some of this stuff .
I drive 56 miles away with other stops along the way both there and back on a half charge regularly. No issues
As far as sleeping in your car while you charge that’s if you want an absolutely full charge ,maybe. The cars condition in the way there if you’re smart enough to tell it you’re going to charge. They’ll charge about half full in 10 to 15 min. That’s 150 ish miles. As they charge higher it takes longer with the last 15 percent taking as long as the first 85 percent.
None of these little anecdotes I hear is ever accurate . Always very exaggerated . To the point it’s laughable . It’s like a bunch of greenies bitching about gas guzzlers used to be . It’s all just so stupid .
Just cause I live my Tesla and I do , didnt stop me from spending the night working on my RAIV firebird w the RAV pro stock engine in it tonight. Still love that car too And its range really sucks!! I can’t charge it, I can’t run it on pump gas , if I went by the theories of the guys in this thread and measured it by it’s range there would be no reason to own it . ��
