That's an application that never received production use.

That same application number ('271) was tested for 1971, but not used that year either.

Both of these have popped up on eBay, but if you know what to look for, you can tell that they were Rochester division units used for testing.

I would imagine that the 7040271 unit would use the same fuel bowl, airhorn, and throtte body as a 7040264/7040262 - but would have been set up with different metering for elevation.
