The Pacific Northwest is the place to be. We, even if the people who run it are jacked up.
But there are lots of roads like that around here. Plenty of car commercials have been filmed in southern Humboldt through the old growth Redwoods.
The timber companies used to let car clubs do timed hill climbs on sections of 299 that were put out of service when the highway got redesigned.
They even had timed 50 mile Enduro races through their timberland for the motorcycle guys.
It was a great time to grow up.
Sadly insurance issues have shut it all down. As well as gates on the beaches and river bars where we used to have a lot of fun.
Keep us the videos of your fantastic car.
