You probably know this and didn't do it ... but if you put a filter on a dry housing without lubing the sealing gasket/ring and tighten it a bit too much it will wrap up that seal and tear it away from the filter sometimes.
Only reason I mention this is that in those last photos parts of the filter seal look pretty dry.
