I had a feeling this was going to happen when they were bought by Mann of Germany a few years ago. Used to be made exclusively in North Carolina. US made is no guarantee of quality either unfortunately. There is a huge FRAM plant about 20 miles from my house in Greenville, OH. We all know they have the weakest construction of any filter out there. Does WIX have country of origin on the filter itself or box?
