Just curious what did you end up doing for the water cross over not meeting up with the timing cover…. another issue with the high ports on a street engine. Did you plug it off, or did you end up buying Kauffman extended water cross over so it match's up with timing cover.
Asking because a friend plug his off and said he had serious issues with front cylinders that was what his machine shop diagnosed. He ended up selling the heads and went to E-heads and actually made about 40 more hp. Its a street car, so might not be a problem on a race car, that only sees 1/4 mile runs
